Here you’ll find a collection of resources to learn more about PODs and programmable cryptography. Check them out if you want to understand more of the concepts and implementation details of the SDKs covered on this site. When you’re ready to start development, you can find much more info on each SDK in various sections of developer docs.

POD is part of a broader vision of a new internet powered by programmable cryptography. For the best introduction to those concepts, check out this blog post. The resources blow provide more information on the vision and concepts behind the POD SDKs.

Tech Talks

The POD vision was launched at Devcon 7 SEA in November 2024. Recordings and slides are available for each of the Devcon talks linked below.

POD and GPC

These talks go into detail about how the POD and GPC SDKs make data provable.

• Introducing PODs introduces the current POD and GPC SDKs for developers.
• Deep Dive into PODs goes into detail about how PODs and GPCs work.

App Development

These talks cover the Zupass developer ecosystem centered around the Z-API.

• Behind Zupass introduces the Zupass app ecosystem.
• Zupass, identity and credentials beyond proof of personhood introduces what’s new in Zupass as part of the d/acc session.
• Building Consumer Apps with Programmable Cryptography contains a series of talks by developers about the Z-API and the real apps built on it.

Programmable Cryptography

These talks are focused on the vision and future work in programmable cryptography.

• The Universal Cryptographic Adapter introduces the concept of a POD in both its current form, and future (POD2) experiments.
